14 Days of Love: Day 9

Today, I love

Dahlya Glick.

First of all, this girl is seriously funny. Go read her blog and you will understand. Plus, she is super fabulous! I'm so glad that we've been able to work in stuco together for the past two years and I'm especially glad we got to MC the talent show together... even if I did completely embarrass myself by doing an obscene gesture on stage. In my defense, I didn't know what I was doing! Anyway... Dahlya is an amazingly talented and determined girl- she applied to TWELVE schools this year! Or maybe it was sixteen... I just remember it was a heck of a crazy lot of schools! And she's been doing auditions at all of these schools, plus speech and debate, plus student council! Crazy much? I think so. And miraculously, she has kept her sanity... at least partially. And yup, she's just super fabulous.  I love her, obviously.

Ello World!

Wow, I've fallen off the face of the earth. My bad. Anyway, I  got our prom pictures! So I shall share! {yes, i realize it was forever ago, I'm slow at posting}

As for recently, Summer has come! Our last day of school was on Thursday and it has been a FABULOUS start to summer! Here is what has happened:

Thursday: Guac and Oreo party at Alex's {tradition among our friends}

 and no, I did not graduate, but I helped for stuco and played for orchestra. :)

Friday: Cleaned out my backpack and read and played lots of piano. Then a temple trip with Ryan and then, Golfland with Namoi, Cuc, Zack, and Scott! Very fun! I ended up falling asleep on Namoi's lap while we watched Ms. Doubtfire and so Zack drove us home in my car- luckily we made it alive. haha. I only have one picture from the night because after I took this, I dropped my camera and it wouldn't turn on and then it got imersed in water by my leaking water bottle. Luckily, the Arizona sun is amazing and after my camera "tanned" in the sun on Saturday, it was fixed. :)

They're dorks.

Saturday: I did chores and played some more piano and then attended the burning of school papers at Josh's house. It was glorious. :) And we had some very funny talks between Alisha, Cuc, and I as the boys did boyish stuff. haha. And then Zack showed up at my house at like midnight and we talked till like one.... random? very.

But it's been fabulous! And today we attened Joe Udall's farwell then drove to Lucas' farwell then drove back to our building for Young Womens/Young Men's! Crazy! But Joe is going to Puerto Rico and Lucas is going to Canada! Their talks were fabulous, both were excellent and it proves that they're going to be wonderful missionaries! I'm so excited for both of them! :) Have a wonderful day!

Prom Pictures and Jordynn and Emma love!

So... prom was so super legit! So very much fun! My date, Christopher Allen, was so very kind and gentleman-esq that everything was amazing! Plus, he has some super sweet dance moves! And, he looked very dashing in his tux! But probably the most legit thing.... he MADE my crosague (I have no idea how to spell that). Like he put it all together and made it! And it most definitely was the cutest one there! props to Chris!!! (props, props!) All our planning in stuco really paid off, and everything went without a hitch! Soooo great to see all the hardwork we've done for an entire year finally turn out! Props to Morgan for such a fantastic job! Love that girl! :) So, pretty much, I.Love.Prom. Pictures!

And ya, that's all I got from prom..... I know, I'm the worst picture taker on the face of the Earth! Sorry! But, Last weekend Jordynn and i went to the Benefit Palooza concert for New Global Citizens and to support my dearest dears, Joey and Dahlya. :) The concert was great! And as we waited for a band we were less interested in, Jordynn and I went to the MAC and took some pictures! Here is the sisterly love we have! Enjoy! :)

Candid Moments are the best....

And here are some of my new favorite band Any Color You Want. They rock my world, for serious. And, two of my very best friends are in it! Joey on cello, and Dahlya on guitar and vocals! LOVE THEM!

 They're the bom-diggity. It's too bad you didn't hear them at the benefit concert! You missed out! But maybe they'll record and I'll send you all a cd because I love you. :) Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week!
