My Theory.

I don't think that 90 year old men who cannot walk should be going to the gym.....

just saying. But hey, way to go to try and increase your ever decreasing time, right?

In other news, I'm currently in love with this band.

This isn't even my favorite song. And I'm not sure I understand the music video but that's ok, right?

And here are some super funny pictures of what my friends and I do for fun... We call it body art without tattoos. Well, that's Zack's name for it that everyone decided was stupid.  Sorry, Zack.
 Zack as a greek-pirate-angel?

Scott as his Asian self saying
"Where's my Rice?"
(No, it does not say whore... Zack has bad hand writing)

 Lindsey's a witch

And Jordynn has an abusive monster boyfriend...

I'm getting eaten by the Craken...

 And Joey is Abe Lincoln....
Super Abe -even though his cape has a J on it.

This is how the night ended...
A battle for the blanket.
 I won.
And please notice Lindsey under THREE boys....

Oh, and this is my friend Zac....

Life is good.

Love always,
Ems

Joseph Tyler.

I remember in seventh grade when Becca suddenly became friends with some cello players in her orchestra... and one of those friends was Joseph Tyler Eddington. (And I believe he was in my student council class...) He was the coolest kid I had ever met. He was indie in seventh grade (I kid you not) and we all instantly loved him. And thus began our friendship....

Six years later, Joey is one of my greatest friends. This kid can make you laugh no matter how you feel and he is always trying to make your day better. He's sweet, funny, musical, humble, energetic, ingenius, artistic, and intelligent. I always know that I can count on Joey to be the perfect example to me- he reaches out to everyone and always looks for the good in people. I don't think that I've heard an upset /mean word issue from his mouth ever. Always one for adventure, he will continue as the motor behind the adventure gang. I'm so very happy he is heading to BYU with me and that I will be able to party it up in hi kitchen next year.

Joey, plain and simple, is wonderful and I'm so happy he's one of my closest friends.

Happy 18th Birthday,
Joey!

Love always,
Ems

Mud.

This one time, the Adventure Gang {yes, we have a name} took a trip to the mud caves.
Becca and I led the way through the caves....
but the boys had never been there so we gave them a break on not being able to be manly.
Here; let me share the joy because boy,
it was joyful.

 Clean!

Dirty!

 Sign?

After three attempts, we finally got the real Adam and Becca pose.

This is my prom date... It's a good thing I love him.

 Classic Becca and Emma pose.

Yes. These are my friends.

And I love them.
One whole heck of a lot.
At least they protect Becca and I from the creepy drunk smokers in the caves...

Love Always,
Ems

Yippee for Videos!

Here is another video! This one is from our fabulous Ostrich Farm Frenzy. Enjoy! :)

A Trip to Tuc-sun. (Almost)

Here's the story.

I'm laying on the ground cleaning underneath the couches when I faintly her my phone ringing above the Valentine's Day Soundtrack that I was jamming to.

Joey Calling.
Yes.
I love when Joey calls, he always has fun things to do.

Emma: "Hey Joey! What's up?!"
Joey: "Oh, hey Emma.... um... what are you doing?"
E: "Uh... cleaning my floor. Why?"
J: "Do you want to um.. go to the Ostrich Farm in 10 to 15 minutes?"
E: "Well.... let me ask!"

Asking parentals ensues whereupon I respond, delightfully, that I would love to join him. So, Zack, Adam and Joey pull up to my house in 5 minutes (no, not 10-15 like he said) and I hop in and we drive to Tuc-sun (almost).

It was a blast.

To prove that point, enjoy these pictures.

The Gang next to the Monster Tractor.
 (Thank goodness for Self-Timer)

 The Ostrich Egg!
(I feel like it deserves it's own theme song)

yes, there were deer there too.

 Joey and the Ostriches

And Zack likes to take really attractive pictures of himself

 Adam feeding me?
Just... don't ask

Zack Really liked the birds....

I was more of a goat fan, myself.

Except I'm pretty sure PETA would die if they saw this...

Oh, and the Birds liked Zack...

 And Joey...

And Adam only loved his lunch pail....

The End.

Love Always,
Ems

Another Video Endeavor!

Back in January, I was so kindly invited to my very best friend, Zack Jarvis', cabin. I had to document our most wondrous time there, so I took the footage and pictures and made it into this video. Please, Enjoy. :)

The music is Baby Driver by Simon and Garfunkle.
